		<description>Interesting list -- but there are two corrections. One, Woody Allen actually appeared at the Oscars in 2002, to present a post-9-11 film montage tribute to New York City. Also, George C. Scott didn&#039;t have a lifelong aversion to the Oscars; allegedly he desperately wanted to win the award for his work in both Anatomy of a Murder and The Hustler and was so disappointed and disillusioned by his losses (to Hugh Griffith and George Schakiris) that he rejected any sort of awards thereafter.</description>
